What it is

Trail keeps a route on the phone when the network does not. Download a map at home, walk, and glance at where you are — without a feed of other people’s hikes.

The compass is large. The rest stays quiet.

On the trail

We designed it for one-handed use with gloves and low light. Brightness follows the time of day. A long press drops a pin. That’s most of the vocabulary.
